Headband Organizer

So I LOVE headbands and have a ton of them but they get messed up because I have no where to keep them together where they can stay nice and neat. That all ended today!

All you need is the following:

  • An empty oatmeal container
  • fabric
  • Scissors (if you use fabric)
  • Glue gun
  • Glue sticks
Note: You can use paint instead of fabric but if you use paint, spray paint works best because it doesn't leave streaks and dries faster. If you do use spray paint if you use a bright color you will want to use a white spray paint as a base coat then apply other color.

Once you have measured the amount of fabric you need you take the glue gun and make a line of glue straight down a side of the oatmeal container. After that place the beginning of your fabric down the side of the container slowly pressing it into the hot glue. Make sure fabric is lined up with the top of the container.

After that wrap the fabric around the container ensuring you keep it aligned with the top of the container.

Next make a second line of glue on fabric on the container next to your starting point, slowly place fabric down on glue to make sure you don't glue on crooked or create creases.

After you have finished putting the fabric on you can cut off any excess material. (I left material on at bottom of container and glued it down later with hot glue)

I think I will be making another one with spray paint because I really have to bunch all mine on it that and my niece now wants one too.

If you have any questions or need any help on this project feel free to ask.
